The executive and advisory board members of Beyond The Scoreboard Organization (BTS) whole-heartedly thank Petoskey Oleson’s Food Market and all those citizens that purchased raffle tickets to win a shopping spree for a present day “Super-Market Sweep” on Saturday, October 22nd. Proceeds from this will be used to support the mission of reinforcing the pursuit of victory with honor regarding athletics in northwestern Michigan and eventually beyond. Many of you designated your purchased tickets to hopefully help benefit other important non-profit organizations in our area such as the Women’s Resource Center, The Manna Food Project, and Camp Daggett, to name a few. These organizations did not win the drawing, but it was a wonderful random act of kindness on your part to provide the opportunity for the “win-win.” Special mention goes to Mr. Jack Taylor, visionary and founder for the Beyond The Scoreboard Organization (BTS); Mr. Mike Wilson, athletic director for Boyne City Schools, executive board member and idea generator/facilitator for the raffle event; and Mr. Joe Villemure, executive board member and highest raffle ticket salesperson. Again, your devoted support will only help us to continue making a positive impact for present and future athletic programs, one program at a time.
